Description

Relics of the timber and mining industries, these railroad trestles originally stood along Lake Superior at Two Harbors, Minnesota. Using my original photograph, I digitally manipulated placement and shadows of the trestles.

Process: mono-printing with water-based pigments using brayers and transferring carbon-based photo ink with gel medium on gessoed hardwood.

Custom Floater frame, included, shows entire face and side of the panels; wood molding has a flat black finish with light edge detail; wired and ready to hang.
