Ore boat docks are combined with the relics of the timber and mining industries in this original mixed media dipytch. The silk-screened printed railroad trestles originally stood along Lake Superior at Two Harbors, Minnesota. Using my original photographs, squeegees and brayers and water-based pigments, the screen printed and mono-printed imagery combines an imagined impression of this North Shore site.

Process: mono-printing, silk screen printing and drawing with water-based pigments using brayers on gessoed hardwood.

Unframed cradles panels are edged in flat black; wired and ready to hang.
